Airport Self-Inspection Program
Conduct daily AOA inspections include pavements, safety areas, markings and signs,
airfield lighting, NAVAIDS, obstructions, snow and ice conditions, construction areas,
security protection and wildlife hazards.
Fuel Farm and Mobile Refueler Unit Inspection
Pro-Tec will inspect the physical facilities of each airport tenant's fueling agent for
compliance to meet current FAA and NFPA requirements that covers the handling and
storage of hazardous substances and materials for fuel farm operations and the mobile
refueler units on the airport.
Winter Operation Airfield Inspection
Conduct physical inspections of runways and taxiways using a friction measuring
device, record the inspection results of all surface areas in order to publish a NOTAM,
and maintain a current field conditions report that provides updated information for
air carriers and other aviation officials.
NOTAMS
We can publish NOTAMS for the airport based on the criteria established in the
airport ACM.
Wildlife Hazard Management Program
We would conduct wildlife hazard assessment inspections, maintain records of findings,
help eliminate wildlife hazards on the airport and take an active role in the annual
review and evaluation of the airport's wildlife hazard management plan.
Population Training Program
The Pro-Tec Fire Department can provide building occupants with initial and recurrent
fire prevention and safety training. This training may include:
- Fire-safe practices in the workplace
- Fire protection procedures
- Procedures to sound the alarm
- Building evacuation
- Location and use of fire extinguishers in the work area
- Activation of fire detection and suppression systems in the work area
Fire Extinguisher Inspection
Conduct monthly visual inspections to ensure the extinguisher is operational.
Fire Suppression System Inspection
Pro-Tec can monitor the fire suppression systems inspections as referenced in
the NFPA standard. Monthly inspector's water flow tests can also be conducted
as a part of this service.
